Need some help. I just came back from the JD dealer after looking at the 790 w model 70 loader. Price quoted was $13,750. Last week I was sold on the new Kubota L2600 with Kubota loader. The best price on this tractor is $13,400. Any suggestions? Do the prices seem reasonable?????

Sounds like you are getting a good deal on the 790--the 790 is a much better tractor than the Kubota for the money. ....

Prices seem reasonable,I would take a good look at the dealerships,and try to make a decision based upon their reputation and integrity.I know when your spending your hard earned cash,you don't want to make the wrong choice,but I don't think you would go wrong with either one of these tractors.Personally,I would go with the new L2600,but I prefer Orange over Green,simply because I've owned three Kubotas in the past seven years,and not had a nichols worth of trouble out of them.What you decide is ultimately your call,let us know what you ended up with. ....
